Tomasz Nałęcz, PhD

PhD in Earth Sciences. An expert in the field of geoinformation, environmental protection and hydrogeology. A graduate of the Faculty of Geology of the University of Warsaw and post-graduate studies at the Warsaw School of Economics, Koźmiński Academy and the Polish Institute of International Affairs.

Almost 25 years associated with the Polish Geological Institute, where he held a number of managerial functions, among others: Head of the Environmental Geology Department, head of the International Cooperation Department and Director of Geoinformation. He cooperates permanently with thing-tank – the Rybarski Institute. Also he acts as the vice-chairman of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Organization and Management in Industry – ORGMASZ.

A long-standing expert of national and international organizations. Member of international teams EuroGeoSurveys, OneGeology, INSPIRE directive, European Large Geotechnical Institutes Platform (ELGIP) and International Commission for the Protection of Oder against Pollution (IOOPP)

A scientist and an experienced manager in the field of managing research and development organizations. Has many years of experience in managing a large teams as well as knowledge of project methodologies. The acquired skills and experience allow him to create business strategies, build project teams, run and commercialize research projects, and implement corporate architecture in a dispersed organization.

University lecturer and author of numerous publications in the field of modern technologies in geology and spatial information.
